Trico® Garden Humane Deer Repellent - 500ml

Deer present a problem for many garden owners. Their diets consist of not only herbs and grasses but also the tender shoots, leaves and bark of newly establishing shrubs, plants and vegetables. Fencing can be prohibitively expensive or impractical and there are few other effective means of deterring them.

Trico® Garden has been proven to give highly effective protection to trees, garden plants, vineyards, orchards and agricultural crops against deer browsing. Trico® Garden is a smell and taste deterrent based on emulsified sheep fat which deer will avoid as they find the smell and taste totally unappetising. It has the advantage over other repellents on the market in that it has good rainfastness, providing effective protection against game damage during both the summer and winter. It is totally harmless to deer. They just don’t like the smell and taste!

Trico® Garden is mixed with water in a ratio of 1:3 to 1:5 and applied with commercially available hand or backpack sprayers and is applied specifically to the plant parts to be protected. Trico® Garden is sold in a 500ml bottle.
